LATINX CURATED

There is a lack of Black and brown representation in the museum field and realized this extends to social media as well. Today’s major influencers, both within the art world and other industries, are predominately white. I wanted to create an Instagram account that calls attention to the Black and brown influencers within cultural spaces.

Created in 2017, Latinx Curated’s mission is to create a collection of images, curated by the snapshots of Latinx memories in museums. It serves to inspire more of us to fearlessly center ourselves within these spaces and share our love of art and museums.
